Riot is Redesigning the LoL Mastery Levels, Again!

Riot Games is doing some League Mastery changes after hearing to their players’ feedback! A few months ago, they changed the Mastery Levels system, but it seems like the players weren’t too happy about it. Now, Riot is listening to what their fans have to say and is planning to redesign the Mastery Levels once more.

This time, they’re going back to basics. The new design will take inspiration from the old 7-level mastery system that players know and love. Riot hopes this fresh approach will make fans excited about showing off their champion skills once again.

LoL New Mastery Levels Design

Riot is taking another shot at updating the LoL Mastery Levels. After players shared their thoughts on the recent changes, it became clear that many preferred the old design. Riot listened and is now working on a new look that keeps the spirit of the original system.

The goal is to freshen up the visuals while keeping the parts that players enjoyed about the old 7-level system. Riot wants to make sure that showing off your champion skills feels rewarding and looks good.

While we don’t have an exact release date yet, it is exptected to launch the redesigned Mastery Levels by the end of the year. They’re also encouraging players to keep sharing their thoughts, as feedback has been a big part of shaping this new design. Riot hopes this update will strike the right balance between new and familiar, giving players a Mastery system they can be proud to display in their matches.

How to Show Mastery in LoL?

Showing off your champion mastery in League of Legends is a great way to display your skill and dedication. It’s also incredibly easy to do!  Once you’ve achieved Level 4+ of mastery with a champion, you can display it with a simple keyboard shortcut. Just press Ctrl + 6 during a match, and your mastery emote will appear above your champion’s head.

This works for all mastery levels, from the basic tier up to the highest tier you achieved. Each level has its own unique look, so other players will be able to see just how experienced you are with your chosen champion.
